clothing-textile production chain in Vietnam, Worldon Vietnam Co., Ltd under Chinese Shenzhou Group is likely to increase investment in this Southeast Asian country.

Last week, the company commissioned the latest $ 310 million project in the chain at Dong Nam (Southeast) Industrial Park in Cu Chi District, Ho Chi Minh City.

Tran Viet Ha, head of the investment section of the Export Processing Authority and the Industrial Zone of HCM City, said it was the largest textile-garment project invested in an industrial park. from the city.

Although the city does not encourage labor-intensive projects, including textile projects, this project was cleared taking into account the investor’s commitment to use advanced technology.

Shenzhou Group’s Gain Lucky Textile Textile Factory in Phuoc Dong Industrial Park in Tay Ninh Province will supply materials for Worldon Vietnam factories. The company has also built a fashion design center.

Shenzhou manufactures knitwear from the initial stage of fiber manufacturing, weaving and printing to the creation of end products for popular brands such as Nike, Adidas, Puma and Uniqlo.

Vietnam’s garment and textile industry has garnered US $ 23.6 billion in exports over the past 11 months, representing a 9.5% increase year-on-year.-VNA
